  • Automotive manufacturers, governments and consumers are demanding sustainable products and a circular economy. Every year 2-3 billion tires are disposed of thus creating an environmental concern due to risk of fires, leaching of chemicals into groundwater and the sheer volume of waste. Of all the tire recycling options, including tire derived fuel, and devulcanization, tire pyrolysis has proven to be the best option for sustainability and a circular economy for end-of-life tires. In this presentation, we will present studies that show how BolderBlack can be utilized in extrusion profiles and automotive weatherstrips.
