  • This study aimed to expand the use of materials obtained from renewable resources and to reduce the dependence on petroleum-based resources. Thus, the reduction of the carbon footprint that will occur during the production of such products will enable future generations to live in a healthier world. The production and consumption of petroleum-based products, which increase in parallel with the increase in the world population, reveals the necessity to reduce the use of products harmful to both the environment and human health. The sensitive side of the project to human health is to make rubber products more sensitive to human health by reducing the consumption of traditional nitrosamine containing / forming accelerators, which have proven carcinogenic and mutagen effects and are often preferred in rubber mixtures. In the long run, it is aimed to remove such chemicals that contain / generate nitrosamines harmful to human health.
